Members of TCF love to be involved!

There are many ways to get involved in service within our church.  TCF’s  church family is made up of Sunday School teachers, nursery workers, greeters, musicians, sound technicians, Youth Group leaders, and so much more!

As a church, we also love to help out with Operation Christmas Child shoebox ministry, which provides Christmas shoeboxes full of toys to underprivileged children all over the world.  As part of this ministry, the children receiving the gifts also hear about the greatest gift of all, Jesus!

In the past year or so, members of our church have also participated in short- and long-term mission trips to Mexico, Romania, and Uganda.  This past summer, a group from TCF took their second trip to Tijuana, Mexico, to help build a house for a deserving pastor and his family, as well as to lead a Vacation Bible School for the kids in the surrounding neighborhood.  Around Thanksgiving of 2005, another group traveled to Romania to evangelize in churches there and encourage our Romanian brothers and sisters in Christ.  Three of our members also traveled to Uganda to work in an orphanage, caring for babies who had been orphaned or abandoned.

In the summer, the youth group travels to M-Fuge, a week-long camp emphasizing missions and community service.  They also love to help process OCC Shoeboxes at the plant in Boone every year, as well as having various events to fundraise for the shipping costs of the boxes.

We invite you to discover how you can get involved at TCF!
